Descrizione di prodotto

304/316 Stainless Steel Reducing Tee Socket Weld & Threaded ASME B16.11 Corrosion Resistant

1. Product Description

The stainless steel tee is a seamless or welded pipe fitting featuring a three‑way junction with one inlet and two outlets (or vice versa). It is fabricated from high‑grade stainless alloys through advanced cold‑expansion or hot‑extrusion processes, followed by solution annealing and descaling to refine grain structure and eliminate residual stresses. The product is available in both full‑bore (equal) and reducing‑bore designs, with the latter integrating a diameter change directly into the branch connection. All fittings are manufactured in compliance with internationally recognised dimensional and material standards, ensuring interchangeability and traceability.

2. Product Applications

This fitting is indispensable in piping infrastructures that require fluid distribution or collection at strategic points. It is routinely specified for:

Oil and gas gathering systems, refinery piping, and petrochemical transfer lines.

Power station steam, condensate, and cooling water circuits.

Marine and offshore platforms exposed to saline environments.

Chemical processing plants handling acids, alkalis, and solvents.

HVAC and refrigeration systems using chilled water or glycol brines.

Food, beverage, and pharmaceutical utilities requiring hygienic sanitary connections.

Municipal water supply, wastewater treatment, and fire‑fighting networks.

Cryogenic installations (LNG, liquid oxygen) and high‑temperature heat‑transfer oil loops.

3.Product Advantages

  • Metallurgical integrity – each batch is subjected to chemical analysis and mechanical testing, guaranteeing compliance with specified grade requirements.

  • Optimised flow characteristics – the internal bore is free from sharp steps or burrs, reducing pressure drop and preventing sediment accumulation.

  • Superior weldability – low‑carbon variants (L‑grades) minimise carbide precipitation during welding, preserving corrosion resistance in heat‑affected zones.

  • Adaptable end preparations – bevel ends for butt welding, socket ends for fillet welding, threaded ends for mechanical joining, or flanged ends for bolted connections offer installation flexibility.

  • Dimensional accuracy – precision machining ensures proper alignment with mating pipes, facilitating faster fit‑up and reducing field rework.

  • Lifecycle economy – the combination of high strength and corrosion resistance translates into extended service intervals and lower total ownership cost.
